Aloha! I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. However, my family and I call the Bay Area home. As you can imagine, growing up in Hawaii was an unforgettable childhood experience.

My island home offers beauty from all angles. The greens, blues, yellows and reds are so vibrant in Hawaii. I learned to appreciate natural beauty from the mountains to the sea. At a young age, I started dancing hula. I wore different types of leis that accompanied my hula. It was tradition that I make my own leis and that's how I learned. Since then, I have been making flower leis, Ti leaf leis, and Haku leis. I loved how it made the person feel when they received a lei. It simply, celebrates the "Aloha Spirit."

The Aloha spirit is welcoming and loving. It will feed you and make you laugh. It will never leave you even if you're not in Hawaii. Maybe that's what makes me the person I am today, not Hawaii but Aloha.
