Business Description
Joe and Chelsea are a married couple who have always had an affinity for animals. They were both into people and television shows such as The Crocodile Hunter, Zoboomafoo, and anything on Animal Planet.
In high school, Joe interned at the Oregon Zoo and then went to Oregon State to study to be a zoologist. He then transferred to Portland State University where he received a bachelor's of science. Joe and Chelsea met through work where she was a groomer and he was a manager. Though Joe did not have dogs growing up, he came into a pack of them with Chelsea, who had 3 of her own. He worked and volunteered at dog daycares and was manager at 3 different locations in Portland for about 5 years.
Chelsea grew up with dogs and started working with them at 12, starting as the neighborhood dog walker. At 16, she started working in dog kennels and volunteering at animal shelters. She has worked a total of 3 daycare/kennels and with 3 shelters/rescues. She graduated Animal Behavioral College.
