The clinic was founded in 2002 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has been serving the greater Phoenix area for over 12 years. AcuHealth began as a vision of two acupuncture students who recognized that many of today's health concerns were not being fully addressed by modern health care. They also recognized that within our historical medical traditions, particularly Traditional Chinese Medicine, many profound insights into the laws governing human health were laid out with great sophistication and understanding.

Robert Koagedal, L.Ac. M.S.O.M licensed acupuncturist is the owner and chief physician at AcuHealth Integrative Wellness Center. He is board certified to practice Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine, and Nutritional Science. Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from San Francisco State University in 1994 and holds a Master's of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 1999. Following his acupuncture studies in Santa Fe, he interned in hospitals throughout China following the route of many American acupuncturists to study from acclaimed physicians in such diverse fields as Orthopedics, Oncology, and Reproductive Medicine.

Robert spent the next three years operating a busy clinic in New York City before relocating with his wife to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he has been serving the greater Phoenix community for the past 14 years and enjoying the amazing golf, hiking, and dining.
