Business Description
I am an Acadiana Native (born and raised in Kaplan, LA) and 20 year martial artist having trained in several disciplines such as Shotokan & Kiechudo Karate along with training in kick boxing, BJJ, Police Defensive Tactics, SWAT training and working as a police officer for 5 years.
Through my time in law enforcement, I gained an intimate knowledge of the dangers of the streets and quickly realized that traditional martial arts, while helpful, did not prepare me for the dangers I or anyone else had to deal with.
After discovering Krav Maga, I trained and took the giant leap to be become an instructor to bring it to the Acadiana area, completing the most in-depth and longest Krav Maga course available outside of Israel from Eyal Yanilov, who is the recognized successor to the founder of Krav Maga.
As owner and Chief Instructor of Acadiana Krav Maga, I continue to give personal instruction and guidance to his students while cultivating the next generation of practitioners.
